This module has helped me take a better look at how my students may view me. It also reminded me that it's ok to learn from my mistakes and move forward to be a better teacher. In the same way, I need to create an environment in which students know it's ok to take risks and make mistakes.

I liked learning about different ways of engaging learners, from the challenging ones to silent students. I have had quite the variety of students in my classes this semester. I liked the examples and would like to try to use them in my own classroom.

This section helped me understand how important it is to get students involved in their own education from the very beginning. I hope to incorporate setting expectations clearly from the beginning. I also like the idea of starting with a teamwork activity to show students the benefit of collaboration.
