The communication received through the online classroom will mostly come from email. Additionally, learning the different types of learners are imperative for understanding individual students and their learning needs. 

As the instructor, I must find ways to provide feedback that is actionable and engaging. 

One of the most important aspects of engaging students in the online classroom is to establish yourself by posting a biography. The opportunity not only allows for self-reflection, but also establishes instructor presence, which is vital in the online environment. 

It is important for the instructor to familiarize themselves with the layout of the online learning environment. Additionally, the instructor must provide students a clear foundation of expectations to best support overall learning.
