I've learned the 4 O's (Origin, Organization, Orchestration, and Outcome Assessment). I will use this to ensure that I am moduifying course content to best meet the needs of my learners and fit their individual differences.
I've learned the importance of feedback. I will use this to make sure my communication with students is meaningful and guides them to our learning goals.
I've learned it is important to "compare and contrast synchronous and asynchronous methods of delivery and decide upon the most appropriate way to teach in an online environment." I will keep this in mind when I go to train my students on how to best utilize all components of our online classroom.
I've learned that I am more of a "facilitator" in my teahcing style. I hope to incorporate 1 or more of the sugegsted tools in my online classrom (ex: blog or podcast).

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
