Good tips for positive communicative language

For me, my main concern which was reflected in this section is the lack of social cues.  I try to assume the best of people online, but sometimes things really csan come across wrong.

As someone who is both an instructor and an online learner (doing my higher degree now), I liked getting these perspectives.  I still struggle a lot with self advocacy and technological fluency as a student, and I hope that gives me more compassion as a teacher

I think one of the biggest points for me was the difference between customer service and Helping Professions.  It is important to remember that our job is not necessarily to please our students (although, of course, we want them to be happy) but to help them be their best. Sometimes that isn't fun or comfortable, but we want them to succeed.
