It's amazing how far a positive comment can go. This module reminded me we don't know what our students are going through outside of class, and our positive influence can change their entire outlook for the better.
This course has reminded me how important positive psychology is today. We see so much negativity in the world that our students need to feel they can count on us to guide them positively.

Students have different technology skills. Asking the appropriate questions at the beginning of class is imperative to getting to know your students. Do they know how to fill out a Google doc? Do they know how to use Dropbox?
I like the acronym CPA, which stands for Clear, Professional, and Appropriate. Explaining this to students early on can help them in all aspects of their lives.
I have to remember students are stretched out in different ways. Asking the right questions initially is extremely important so I know how to help my students.
Comment on Tikeama Buckingham's post: I don't like writing things down. This one is going to be hard to do. I do see the importance of it and I am going to give it my best to keep a small note pad with me and write things down.

Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals.
