About me
Hello everyone, my name is Anna Perret and I am a clinical instructor at Stanbridge. I have been an RN since 1993. I spent most of my RN career working while I was an Air Force wife. I had the benefit of working all over the country and received a wide variety of clinical experience working in every specialty or department at one time or another. My favorite departments have been orthopedics and psychiatry. I am currently working as a staff nurse in behavioral health (or psyc) at a medical detox and recovery hospital in Laguna. I am new to instructing and am loving it so far! Being a career staff nurse, the clinical environment is my home away from home. I look forward to not only learning more about being an instructor but also helping students excel and navigate the clinical world of being a nurse in the clinical environment. My contact information is the school email: aperret@stanbridge.edu. You can call me Ms. Anna. I look forward to getting to know everyone.
Activity
I try to teach something three ways, read thru it in the text on the smart board, show a demonstration video, and do hands on with the students.
Its importatnt to be a role model for your profession, a motivator and a mentor.
