It's important to always be looking for ways to improve your content where possible. Student feedback is always an excellent way to improve your content to better tend to their individual needs for learning.

Formative assessments are necessary in tracking student learning and progress throughout a unit. They can help the instructor determine gaps in student understanding and adjust lessons where necessary before a final summative assessment.

Scaffolding can help students learn more precisely by taking it in pieces. This can also allow them to build with knowledge they already have and can make the subject matter more relatable.

One thing I took away from this module is the importance of consistency when making materials. This helps students know what to expect for assignments and other materials throughout the semester.

I learned from this module that it is highly important for the students to feel safe and overall comfortable in class for the best outcome of their learning. I definitely want to work towards creating the best possible environment for my students each time they walk through the door to my classroom.

I think it's important to connect what the students are learning to their career goals and aspirations. This makes the learning much more relevant to the student and can help with their understanding of the content.

Being sure to follow the guidelines of the institution as well as being clear about what is expected of the students.

Being able to pivot on the spot and change what you are doing or how you are instructing is key.

I learned of the 10-20-30 rule. I also learned it is important to not have more than 3-5 points per slide.

Coming to class prepared with a variety of materials to ensure the success of each student.
