Creating a new way of teachinga and understanding that time changes the expectation, the way and the logic of teaching is important.

I learned that good communication, good use of technology tools and a good attitude can help my class, and my students to learn more effectively. Also rubrics can help me evaluate my students and can help them know what to expect on the evaluation. 

I learned that even though active learning may take more time to prepare, or may have more limitations, it is important to invest in it, and on the same level of importance, we need to explain to the students why are we making these active learning activities, so they can engage too. 

Active learning is important for online education, or any type of education at all. It's crucial to know that the student can and must be engaged in the learning process and it is his responsability to learn, not the teachers. 
Also, we can rely on instructional designers to make our content more atractive and functional.
