I have learned that not everyone is a social Butterfly you have your extraverts and then your introverts and everyone networks in their own way, some find it easier to Network than other others, everyone has their own way or style to networking or their challenges to learn how to network, some find it easier to talk in a group and some find it harder to approach a colleague.

I have learned by networking with friends, and with volunteering and activity events make the networking process more attainable, putting into action the professional associations: Joining and actively participating in professional organizations in the desired industry.

I will apply this by determining my networking goals, making a list of my available resources, and follow up, Identify and understand my assets.

Comment on Angella Walters's post: I have been in Career Services for about a year now and I learned that your students need to learn how to network their skills set. How I am going to apply this is to make sure in my department I will show my students how important it is to be a part of their community.

It is super important to be networking at all times in your community.
