It is very important to always know the background of your student and to take into account if they speak more than one language. It is also important to understand that language is a big part of someone's culture and to include this knowledge when teaching student. 

It is important to tailor each learning experience to each student. It is also important to note that culture does impact the learning environment. Furthermore, it is important to note that race is a constructed idea of grouping people together but not to allow race to impact your views on a certain person or group, remembering that each student is different regardless of if they share the same race. 

It is very important as an educator to take into account each learner's post life experiences, background and learning style when teaching. If these things are not taken into account it leads to student success and learning abilities to decrease. It is a good idea to establish and learn about your students from the beginning in order to tailor learning to each individual student.
