I have learned that the schools admission requirements for each of our programs us follow the rules as outlined in the status and rules documents. Also, that is fundamental that we have a good understanding of what goes into the schools catalog and the general enrollment agreement as they go hand-in-hand. Lastly, I learned that it is a best practice to create a new student folder to keep track of all the documents that have been completed.

I have a better understanding of the value that Accreditations bring to the table.

I have a better understanding of why the U.S Department of Education requires that Title IX coordinators have a basic understanding of the unique aspects pf sexual assault dynamics.

I learned that under Title IX an institution has the duty to resolve a complaint promptly and equitably and it must comply with FEPA and other applicable privacy laws. 

I have learned that a Title IX coordinator is an integral part of the school systematic approach to ensuring non discrimination. 

I have learned what Title IX and VAWA entitles and why is so important for all federally funded schools to have a Title IX coordinator. As a IX coordinator they will be able to focus on creating action plans to be able to prevent any sort of harassment, and would be also able to take all the necessary steps to help the victims when the situations do arise.
