Student engagement is important when it comes to online/distance learning.

Making modifications depending on students to keep engagement and interest is important.

It is important that we create a comfortable environment for the students. Get to know their names. Create ice breaks to make them feel comfortable in this learning space.

Preparation for each class is very important. having a syllabus and lesson plan is a must to keep  organized and on task.

I learned that students seek guidance from the instructor. We must look and act professional and Students may adapt the same professional traits. 

Distance learning instructors have to provide support for the students.
