I am currently teaching a class now that has students that know a little more than other stidents. Being flexible with your teaching style is not an easy task.

There is a lot of information to grasp. This lesson made me very aware that I need to observe my students a little bit better to help adjust my teaching styles. The examples were very helpful.

As an instucotr for HVAC, I can see that I need to work on getting more models and cut-outs for more effective learning by the students.

After reading these lessons, I find that I need to make some adjustments to become a more effective class manager.

We all make mistakes and we definitley are not perfect. My biggest mistake is that I tend to talk to fast. sometimes I catch myself and sometimes my students want me to repeat what I just said. I am very passionate about what I do and I constantly vary the pitch of my voice but, I really need to work on slowing things down a bit.

This series of learning was very helpful for me. I have a better unsderstanding on what needs to be done when encountered with difficult students. In addition, I find the wording in these strategies very usefull. When I have discussions with my "hard to get to " students, I will definitaley use some of the verbage that was used in this lesson.

Great ideas on how to handle difficult students. I may have to try some of these strategies.

I have been teaching now for less than 2 years. Many of the items discussed I picked up rather quickly but, some the strategies I read about are very interesting and appealing. I will definitley incorporate some of these strategies in my daily instructions.
