It is important to not let one student disrupt the class, and make sure all voices are heard by finding strategies that allow soft spoken students to speak up. The blue card idea sounds like a great idea, I would like to try it.

It is important to know what kind of learning style your students have, and learn how to adapt your teaching style to meet the students need. Try and keep students interested and engaged because students have short attention spans.

Make sure to arrive to class early and plan for your day and be prepared, its very important. set the tone of your class

Be a role model, make sure your following the same professionalism standards you set for your student. Come to work prepared, looking presentable and professional. Have your day planned out, have your lesson plan on the board. Be early and be present.
