I like the different ideas that they gave use for formative and summative assessment.

My favorite way to assess students is with projects.  I feel that this lets students use their strengths in different ways to show their comprehension.

I love the Bloom's Taxonomy image for this course.  This course has given me some great ideas to use in my own classroom.  I plan to get a poster like the image and use it to help me create engaging activates with higher order thinking.

A good classroom plan can make teaching so much easier! I love to use Planbook.com to do all my lesson planning.

In my classroom I like to create group constitution for each class.  Its a great way for us all to decide how we learn best and how we can implement it in the classroom.

I learned about programs of study and their importance in helping students find their path in a CTE program.

I think all schools today should have trauma training for teachers.  When you are aware you can do better!

The amount of trauma in our school is much more than I expected.

Hello,

Does anyone know if we have access to print graphics from this curriculum to hang in our own classrooms?

I love the Maslow's graphic! It is a great reminder of what we can provide each day to insure student learning success.

Having a mentor teacher can be crucial in the success of a new teacher/program in CTE.

I was blessed to have a wonderful cooperating teacher that later served as a mentor.  She taught me how to mentor and now I get to fill those shoes to our new CTE teacher.

One of the most important things I have learned as an educator are positive boundaries.  Setting positive boundaries like office hours, school appropriate contact methods, and grading policies are game changers.

Running a CTSO makes boundaries even more important.  My favorite communication tool is Remind 101.

I now understand how important data collection is and how it can be used as a reflection and program check.
