I like the idea of leaving a video in the announcement for students in the online environment. This gives a more personal touch from the instructor. 

Students prefer the flexibility of online learning because they have busy lives and the self paced educational system allows them to balance, work, life and school. 

Students need to feel seen and important and frequent interaction allows them to understand the material, have questions answered, and an understanding of the dynamics between instructor and student. 

By using the discussion and interactive tool that is provided to assure, direct and interact with the students regarding assignments, expectations, question and answer segments additionally to have one and one conversations. Also using the organized record system for student's files. 

It certainly requires time, patience and repetition to master the online platform making me an effective facilitator to all students. 

The adult learner find it difficult to navigate though the new learning platforms because they are used to the old way of teaching and learning. As an adult teaching facilitator, I have to be mindful of that and assist the students to be comfortable with the new ways of teaching and learning. 

The Course let me see what is working for me and what I could try to improve my teaching skills. Professionalism and teaching styles go hand in hand while keeping the material simple yet effective for the students to understand.

Agreed. disabilities is already stressful to the individual so its absolutely necessary we make them feel welcomed, seen and important and the support system is conducive to their needs.
