This was awesome. We implented mock interviews a while back and this will give us the ability to improve on that. 

Positive thinking and positive affirmation are key in student success. Students must have a vision and a realistic goal and our goal should be to help them achieve it. 

It is important to help the student create a vision so that they can work towards that goal. I once read that the difference between a dream and a goal is a timeline and studnets need to keep that in mind when working on meeting their goals. 

Providing students with the proper guidance can help build a relationship that could possibly make the difference between them reaching out to you and seeking help or not. Often times people will not reach out if they do not feel listened too.
