I teach the NEC code book for electrical it's a hard book to try and use i have found out if i do codes for candy this makes my students want to learn how to use and find codes. My student look forword into doing the code book.

Cheating

I have caught two students cheating on a test by texting each other. I had them stay after class to talk to them they said they did so I had them sign a paper saying this and gave them a zero on the test and I had the hole class keep there phones in book bag's.

I have students from 19 years to 60 years old in the same class. Sometimes I put the older student with a younger one this helps out the younger one learn off of the older to be more ready for class buy seeing how his partner is ready for class.

Hands on learning

I teach electrical wiring so we do a lot of hands on wiring and testing. We also take them out on wiring of old and new buildings to teach them codes.

I teach electrical so we use code book, hands on wiring I go over the codes and then go to the lab and do wiring on what they have learned from the book. We also take them out on field trips were they use what they learn.

I found out some stundents like to help out after they have learn how to do something when i have one like that i put him with a stundent that is having trouble with a project this seem to have a great way for a stundent to feel he is doing a great job in class but is also helping out another stundent learn.

I teach electrical we use the code book to teach the stundents how it must be done than we do it in the class room so they see how it works. We also take them out on a field trip an use what they have learned in the classroom. I have a electrical inspecter come in and check out what they did this makes them feel great when he says it passed the inspection on the frist try.

caring for your stundents

Ifeel if you are not ready for classthe stundent will see this and not willing to show up or will be late for class because you don't show them you really what to teach them and care for them.
