Engagement is key to online learning. If the students are not invested in what we are trying to teach, they will lose interest and fail the class.

I have always sent my bio to students, but never once asked them to write one back. This could be a great way to get to learn more about students and create a bond.

I learned that thorough knowledge of the delivery system is key. Being able to put yourself in the shoes of the student and what they can possibly go through will make it easier to assist them if a problem arrises. Making sure they follow the module plan is extreamely important, so that progress can be tracked and feedback can be streamlined
