Active listening is a critical condition for any conversation to be productive and constructive. I will take back to my team the listening with the ears and the heart. It truly allows you to connect with the emotional side of the student. There is a true difference in listening and earing what a person is actually saying. This is a very  important skill set to learn.

It is important that Collaboration is looked at from a big picture and ensure everyone is aligned on sharing ideas and solutions. Respecting each team member’s thoughts and being genuinely open-minded not only fosters trust but also sparks creativity and innovation.

I learned generational awareness also helps leaders communicate more effectively, coach with intention, and motivate teams in ways that resonate. It can support a more smoother line of communication , boosts engagement and productivity, and fosters a culture of respect and inclusion. Ultimately, learning generational types isn’t about labels, it’s about creating a workplace where people feel understood, valued, and empowered to perform at their best.
