Activity

Simulation/gaming tool must be multidisciplinary with clear and attractive/attainable illustrations and easily accessible tools along with engaging interaction to motivate learners to be engaged and participate.

When applying simulation/game strategy in learning activities, the instruction must allow learners to easily navigate the software, must allow advanced learners to bypass the redundant instructions, vocabulary and tools must be cognitively challenging but navigable for learners to be fully engaged.

The name "game" itself increases a curiosity in learners.  Gaming is a different but interactive way to learn the concept that can set a goal and allow students to be challenged and engaged.

The simulation on the other hand the representation of life or controversial events illustrated in dynamic methods, which is not like game but can be interactive and interesting for students to curious, challenged and engaged since it also can be set with a goal.

It is very crucial for instructors to motivate students to be enthusiastic about their work, to gain confidence in their abilities to learn and perform the tasks of learning, and to believe in their success from the course.

It is very crucial for instruction to be interactive and multimedia methods including visual with image/videos, hands-on, group-discussion and activities, and often assessed with positive feedback.  This allow students' encouragement in learning, to participate actively, and makes easier for students to learn new materials.

As an instructor, it is very crucial to respect students by greeting them and addressing them by their names; show fairness, respect, and care for their expectations and needs; create friendly environment students' allowances for active participation; discuss the importance of students' specific careers; and provide daily reinforcement and recognition to students. These practices allow students to open up, develop rapport with instructors, be engaged in learning process, and feel included in classroom and in campus life.

As a teacher, it is very crucial to understand the classroom diversity in terms of students' need; students' expectations from teachers, peers, and of the classroom environment; students' acceptance, validation and recognition; students' disability awareness/need; and students' methods of learning.  Understanding such diversity of the classroom allow teachers to practice what type of behavior to model, how to demonstrate a lecture, additional support and instruction needed, how to group students for 100% productive and engaging discussion etc.

Problem analysis need to be done to break down the problem into smaller segments before starting to solve a problem, which need to be integrated in students to practice to solve problems.

Intelligence is being able to learn to/from, understand, critically/creatively think to response to/handle/interact with one's environment.  As an instructor, I need to be aware how interactive and effective the learning materials are for students, whether students are internalizing the contents or struggling and how to support them etc.

Reasoning is rationalizing outcome of critical thinking.  As an instructor I should/will expose to/deliver learning materials in a wide variety way so they can explore, ask technical/productive questions, enhance their level of common sense.
