I feel that it is important to actually LOVE what you do. Students will be more attracted to the material and may learn more. Making it fun can vary from going outdoors and learning about the topic to doing classroom assignments pertaining to the topic.

Different age groups

Being a clinical instructor I get a variety of different age groups. Through this topic I learned to better understand that adults may have a harder time with grasping the info due to them not being in school for a while. I will need to be detailed in what I teach with each age group.

Meeting students for the first time

Making a good first impression. Well dresses. One time having material ready and easy to understand. Learning the students names after the first day. Shows that you care for them and their education.

Planning and preparation

Making sure that I am always prepared having the material ready before class starts. Making sure all the media works. Preparing by rehearsing what I will be talking about with the students.

TEACHING LEARNING STYLES

Since I'm a clincial intructor one way that I can do this is taking one student at a time and learn their way of learning. I have many students that are visual learns so I present them with many pictures of the topic and discuss it that way.

New methods of teaching

I deeply feel that it is important as an instructor to have More then one method in teaching. It can become a bore For you and the students if you just stick to handouts. Maybe doing something like hands on or and activity can spice it up a little
