The types of learners is a very useful tool in empathizing with the "learning style" among a wide range of students - particularly in classes approaching 40 students (which seems like a very large number indeed!)
There are many similarities and parallels between in-person and online learning, in terms of communication fundamentals and asserting instructional presence through multiple facets.
These sections highlight the importance of understanding the learning system to more holistically support students in their learning goals (beyond simple instruction).

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
