I have to agree with the best practices listed in the module I can see myself changing things up to ensure I meet their learning needs. Taking the time to get to know your students goes a long way.

I found the quadrants pretty interesting since I had never heard of them before. I am more familiar with the seven separate categories of intelligence and when creating a curriculum I try to include as many categories as I can, My goal is to always try to reach all styles of learners.

The adult learner comes in with a wealth of knowledge and experience that become resources to them and to other learners in their environment. They can apply their knowledge immediately and have a sense of  satisfaction and motivation. Getting to know the learner can help me adjust my teaching style to help connect with their learning style.

I find Daniel Levinson's theory to be very interesting because as we mature we look at things differently due to life experiences so decisions we make are well informed. I am also curious to see if there is recent research that has changed some of these theories.

Adult learners have different reasons behind continuing their education and we have to look at these reasons to be able to encourage them and help with the remove the barriers.
