Teach the students to be good digital citizens using the practices learned from this course and incorporate them into everyday life.

It was good to see that Fair Use explained easily into a 4 part process to make sure you are doing it correctly. I will use these 4 steps in my classroom to teach about Fair Use in our copyright and ethics unit of the class.

I use these practices daily in class since I teach Graphic Communications and Design classes.  We have to make sure we follow all copyright laws when creating t-shirts designs, logo and product designs. It was great to see more indepth on the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

Critical thinking, collaborating, and problem-solving are used in my classroom already.  I will strive to continue to use these situation in my lab and in the online platform to create more active learning in my subject area.

I've used rubrics for several years it helps elimate any reason for the student not to see what is being assessed for the assignment and is very beneficial to the active learning environment and CTE classroom.

Active learning can take place online and it will take longer time to plan.  Also, if you have students doing truly online active learning you must make sure you know that ALL students have the capabilities to do the instruction based on what you use for your classes. 

I've have been guilty of being instructor led in my courses and just posting instruction "PowerPoints" online for my online forum.  I am willing to become more of an "educational coach" than a instructor driven class.   I use some active learning already in my classroom like the gaming with teaching method.  I also use problem solving methods in class when working with equipment in class.   I will take into coinsideration all the items I've learned from this session to incorporate becoming more of a facilitator in my instruction in the future.
