I like the recommendation of using 3-5 active strategies per course as it gives a tangible guideline so that as an instructor I am not questioning if I did too many/few strategies.
Presenting the active strategies to be used throughout the course, intensity of the workload, and learner expectations from the beginning in a short video course introduction will reduce some negativity from students during the course.
Active learning in an online environment transitions the instructor to a facilitator or coach role that guides learning and student growth.

Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
