The students need to take ownership/responsibility for their learning and we can help them in their learning by giving them examples which will help them retain information.

Diagnostic testing is important at the beginning of the course to evaluate and help the instructor know the strengths and weakness of the student so the instructor can modify the learning activities accordingly.

Getting the students involved actively in class discussions helps in their learning.

There are numerous both teaching and learning styles. By using variety of teaching styles  one will be meeting100 percent of the learning styles represented at one time or another.

Listening to students is a great way to increase their engagement while building the foundation for empowerment

Motivation increases empowerment, participation , growth and self confidence.

There are two motivators, extrinsic & intrinsic . Intrinsic Motivators are most effective and long lasting.

This module assisted me in learning the concepts of security & autonomy for the adult learners by giving them the power of choice.
