Have lesson plans planned out and laid out for myself. Keep a checklist of core needs to be taught and a layout to follow the instruction and lecture. 

We need to lead professionalism as an example and be mindful on how we handle situations, give lectures and how we approach certain issues. Being ready for everything the time its intended to start shows professionalism plus lets students know you will expect the same from them.
