Be clear and concise when communicating with students online. 

 

Creating a self-analysis inventory is necessary to prepare students for the expectations of the online learning environment.

 

Feedback is crucial in synchronous learning. It is best to limit the number of students in synchronous students to 5-6, even better if you can do one-on-one sessions to clarify the material. 

 

Establish a good relationship with your students at the beginning. They are more likely to respond to you as an instructor.
