I’ve learned that emails are effective ways to communicate with learners for cancelling, and reminders. Also to follow company policy to handle conflict.

It's interesting to learn that asynchronous and synchronous discussions are good methods for different learning styles, but it’s important for online instructor to provide feedback to encourage confidence and motivation. 

I learned that online instructors must be present to influence, inspire, and energize students. This helps them feel comfortable and secure in their learning journey.

Quality online courses need to be organized and have Intellectual Interaction, for students to prosper. I’m old school and prefer the on campus/in classroom lecture settings. However, I understand the new online avenue is the new era and it can all work well with learning and technical support.   

I learned about different learning styles and how different ways to teach to help students be successful

Love the ideas on ice breakers and building good rapport with students

I learned a syllabus is helpful for both myself and the students. I also learned to show up early  allows me to get to know students

I have learned to be professional in teaching one must be confident, dress preprofessional, and being on time is key to being an effective instructor.
