Activity

In this module I learned that there are required processes that must be followed when enrolling a student into your program. This paperwork must meet all guidelines as set forth by the Florida Commission.

Within this module, I have learned the necessity of collaboration to remain aware and abreast of all challenges and possible opportunities for the students. It was also interesting to understand that there is a need to sit in on a class, talk with the Placement supervisors, etc to see how a student will progress through the programs. It is important to be able to troubleshoot and have possible solutions of problems that might occur but also be able to speak comprehensively about the program(s) and their benefits.

From this module I learned that it is important to ensure that the student is fully aware of all of the requirements for admission, so they are able to make conscious decisions about the courses/classes that are being offered. Transparency is key when entering into a contract with someone to ensure that all possible conflicts that could result have a consistently implemented process that everyone is aware of to rectify them.

The information shared was about the importance of the Resource Notebook and all of the pertinent information that is needed to be held within it. I also learned about the need for the marketing materials to meet specific standards as set forth within the Rules. The need for CEUs when renewing our license was very important to be aware of to be successful.
