It's important to address stress as soon as possible rather than burying it. There are many resources for students at school, but teachers have to find ways to handle stress. Often, this means exercising, talking to friends or a therapist, and focusing on being present.

Focusing on the present and gratitude helps everyone in the classroom. Leading a breathing exercise with students and avoiding multitasking are techniques I can use.  I'm learning to avoid the addiction to multitasking.

Focusing on the positive, big or small, every day helps me. Students need the same in the classroom. A smile, kind words, acknowledgment of an accomplishment, or positive message can make a difference.

Exercising, talking to friends, and eating well are all ways to reduce stress.  Students are under a lot of stress, and it helps to provide a safe environment and encourage better sleep habits.

Over time, I've developed techniques that work for me. It's good to refresh through this course, and I'm always open to new ideas.

It's important to tailor lessons to engage and give access to all learners.

The 4T Academy was impressive! That technology would be useful in many pathways.

I have been using games with students, and I'm excited to check out some of the other resources.

Core academic skills are embedded in CTE content. Incorporating academic skills strengthens a pathway and builds a solid foundation for students.

I intend to emphasize student-centered learning with connections to real-world scenarios. I hope to encourage students to make those connections and boost their creativity. They are the future.

I really enjoyed watching a class create open and closed questions from a prompt, as well as the cross-curricular project. Those are techniques I can use in my classroom. The students were engaged and very creative. I'm learning ways to boost learning and outcomes for our projects.
