Activity

What would be some methods to get students more engaged and participate during group discussions.

I put a higher emphasis on students retention of the material not their letter grade. Challanges have been getting students engagedand participating in discussions.

Directed toward new students learning about a "trouble call/no cool" and understanding Super Heating and Sub Cooling.

Discussion on latest trends, real world applications, and best practices for today's cold climate heat pump systems

Do you find allowing "older" students (with greater knowledge base and work experience) to engage/help answer questions instead of the instructor helpful?

Do you find that open-ended questions help students engage and participate more in class?

I found this helpful

Good information

I experiencde adult learners quite often, this me have a better understanding of their mind set

As our campus is transitioning from a 2 day on line/3 day in person to a 3 day online/ 2 day in person i found this course study/training very informative and helpful. Going from F2F to On line many basic principles remain the same, i.e. oraganization good communication and prompt feedback as well as mutual engagement will help ensure students success
