I've been a career educator for over 20 years. I currently serve as the Academic Coordinator for Brookstone College of Business and continue to be active in the classroom as a Business Instructor. My motto is "A student doesn't care how much you know, until they know how much you care." I was honored to receive the Career College Association National Teacher of the Year award in 2001. I just love teaching!

All Students Matter!

As instructors, we must treat every student the same. Once a student realizes, he or she is being treated differently, the instructor will be labeled as having favorites. Students frown upon favoritism. Remember, every student is important and should be treated as such. No one student is any more important than the other.

I let my students know all the time, that for every choice there is a consequence, and that they are in control of their own destiny; whether they fail or succeed is left solely up to them.
