About me

I've been a career educator for over 20 years. I currently serve as the Academic Coordinator for Brookstone College of Business and continue to be active in the classroom as a Business Instructor. My motto is "A student doesn't care how much you know, until they know how much you care." I was honored to receive the Career College Association National Teacher of the Year award in 2001. I just love teaching!

Activity

Hi Carmen, You are certainly kind to give these unmotivated students a talking to before reprimanding them. Some instructors will simply remove them from the room to teach them a lesson. Patricia Scales
Hi Ronald, Ver fast paced! I am sure this being so fast paced helps with retention as well. You probably have good retention. Patricia Scales
Hi Cindy, Variety is always a good thing! I too leave the lights on when utilizing PowerPoint. Students get way too relax when the lights are off. Patricia Scales
