About me

I've been a career educator for over 20 years. I currently serve as the Academic Coordinator for Brookstone College of Business and continue to be active in the classroom as a Business Instructor. My motto is "A student doesn't care how much you know, until they know how much you care." I was honored to receive the Career College Association National Teacher of the Year award in 2001. I just love teaching!

Hi William, Students want to hear about your credentials! The more years, the better. I always share my 20 years of teaching with my students. Patricia
Hi Charles, I teach all MS Office courses as well. I do exactly as you have mentioned. I also let them know what type of jobs they can get by mastering MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook. I really push the MOS Certification. Patricia
Hi Donna, It makes a lot of sense to students to show a good example and a bad example. By doing this, students know exactly what to do and what not to do. Patricia
Hello Wanda, I can immediately tell those students that may have lacked home training. These students have to be dealt with differently. After a while, I do notice a positive change in the students. Patricia
