One of my biggest takeaways from the Understanding Student Characteristics module was the emphasis on how each individual student brings something unique and valuable to the learning environment. We all have our own assumptions and experiences that shape who we are and how we see the world. It's a great thing to share and learn from the perspectives of others who have traveled a different path.

I plan to utilize the advice of making a list prior to each class of the key points I need to cover. I feel this will be an effective way to stay on task and manage my time well. I also think having a blank notepad to write down random ideas, questions, etc. is helpful so I can return to these at a later time.

I really liked the Harvard video about not trying to show how smart you are, but presenting as a lifelong learner yourself.
