There are so many customer relations and problem solving skills that are required in a trade. Effective communication from pricing, design, etc. is so important. 

there are so many implications that take place in each field, skill, and trade. Having opportunities for if-then simulations is vital. 

There are many reasons that trade-specific skills need to know contextual and communication skills. I never considered how these skills can be taught and trained in the context of online discussion boards, etc. 

I've never heard of the IDEAL Model before, helpful to use as a guide.
