I learned that teaching is more than just presenting material. It's about getting the students in the right frame of mind to learn by treating them with respect and keeping it real, as in real world. Having them understand that what they are learning is skill that is required in the field to help them progress in their career.

I have just learned that in discovering the individuals in the class backgrounds that I can fine tune the curriculum to better suit the students through knowledge/experience sharing. This will also help the students with class participation.
