Activity

This topic taught me that it is up to the instructors to make the engagement happen. It taught me the difference between asychronous and sychronous teaching and to take note of what kind of learning style each student are more comfortable with and to what degree is its effectiveness.

I learned that it is highly recommended to project your presence and authority from a distance and establish a relationship with the students to encourage engagement and active participation.

In this part of the module I learned how the organizational structure of the course is arranged and the importance of keeping track of resources and schedule.

I learned that there is also a meticulous process regarding transferring credits. I also learned that it would be better to update the resource notebook regularly rather than occasionally.

I learned that having a deep understanding of different aspects of the institution is very necessary in order to provide good student services.

I learned that it is very important to have give attention to a lot of details and making sure to document each steps and making sure that the enrollees have a very good understanding of what they are signing up for.

Throughout this training I have learned that being in admissions is more than just answering calls as it requires deep understanding for the rules and the institution in order to provide the best service for the enrollees. I would apply everything I have learned according to any given situation to the best of my abilities while adhering to the policies diligently.
