I think it is sometimes challenging as students pick careers they are not necessarily cut out for. You want to foster their motivation but it is hard to re-direct them. I got some good ideas on how to navigate that by going through this module.

Retention and transitions are key components of every successful program. I think viewing it as an improvement stage is a good perspective as well.

We do a tone with our students with resumes, but I think we need to make a more robust process for interviews and follow up.

This stage I am pretty experienced with as I have been incorporating the research and goal setting aspects of WBL in my classroom for years.

When I was beginning the journey of WBL, the idea of pre-surveying internship spots never even crossed my mind. I love the idea of an exit interview as well.

This is the part of the WBL process that gives me the most anxiety. Supervising and facilitating are key components and I think proper implementation is a key element.

This module just reinforced the importance of documentation of the internship experience.

Internships are such a great way for students to explore interests, develop workplace skills, and set them on career pathways.

Recognizing board members is an important and often overlooked aspect of serving on advisory boards. I think that is key to keeping boards engaged and effective.

Good refresher on Roberts Rules of Order. Every meeting should operate under its guidelines--its the most effective way to conduct business.
