Every lesson should have a little of every learning style incorporated into it. This helps all students regardless of their learning style but also introduces them to the idea of learning in other styles as well which will help for their future career as a technician.
REFOCUS is a great way to regroup and come back with the same enthusiasm as when the course started. Proper planning and engagement and energy is what can be the difference between a student just copying information or actually learning the information.
Learned the human element to teaching and learned that it goes beyond presenting material and giving test. Excited to use this in my approach to be more connected with students so that they feel respected and like they have chosen the right path.
Learned the importance of practicing and presenting different learning and teaching styles for the students because everyone takes in information differently so it is important to try to reach every student and mix up ways the information is given.
Preparing students for the course they are about to be apart of as well as the people they will be learning with is beneficial to both the student and the instructor. It sets the tone for what is to come allowing people to mentally and physically prepare.
Proper planning and preparation is key to both the student and the instructors success.
Learned to be a good Model, manager, and a motivator. Finding different ways to help students understand the material. Looking forward to implementing these methods in class to enhance my teaching ability.

Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
