From this training module, I've learned that real online engagement means blending social connection with motivation. To put that into practice, I'll can create welcome videos before class starts and set up text message reminders to help keep my adult students on track. I'll also give assignment directions in multiple formats and add collaborative message boards to encourage peer-to-peer resource sharing.
