Developing a compliance culture requires work among different departments and includes all faculty and instructors. Regular and open communication helps to address concerns.

This module reiterated the importance of FERPA. I was able to understand the requirement of the annual safety report. It is nice to see that these things are being implemented at Gurnick and gives additional context to why certain information is disseminated. 

I learned that distribution time frames vary depending on the type of funds. Additionally, communication between departments and separation of roles is essential to maintain compliance. It is important to direct students to the appropriate department when they have financial questions.

SAP has multiple components including student grades. Communication between financial aid and programs are essential to ensure proper tracking and that students are meeting criteria for FSA

When admissions requirements are met and followed student retention and academic success should follow.
