Enjoyed the video that spoke to asking students what they learned today and not only asking to repeat what they learned the night before or at home.  This provides an opportunity to highlight successes and areas to improve and to increase student engagement.  What they learned and how they describe it may lead other students to success as well.

Students will make snap judgements and the impressions we give, including using our syllabus to show expectations.  The way we present ourselves and lay out our courses has a real impact.

This course gave me some more insight into how the students view me and my role here and some insight to the inner workings such as how curriculum are designed and the clear differentiation of instructing vs merely presenting information.
