Activity

Most students leave programs because of personal issues that have nothing to do with the program. It is important to make students feel seen and heard. This can make a big difference and maybe offering the solutions that they may not have thought of. 

Retention is a group effort. Making sure that we are catching those troubled students before it is too late. 

communication with students is important and keep records of behavior is crucial.

Encouraging learner participation is critical to everyone's success. It let's you know that students are actually retaining the information  they are learning. It also lets you know that they are paying attention.  Giving timely constructive feedback to participation helps learners' confidence. 

let students get to know you as a person. they trust you more when they know your experience and background. students will connect with you better.

I need to familiarize myself with all the platforms so that I know how to navigate them and answer students' questions. Also getting to know my students so that I can adapt to different learning styles.
