I appreciate that Digital Promise has taken the time to develop the crosswalk for the many career clusters. I am looking forward to digging into the resources they have available. 

Something that stuck out to me in this module is that students need a general outline - if you will - for how to develop global competencies. I try to include activities that requires them to research different areas of the world over a variety of topics, but have always wondered how to help them learn more. Especially since there is so much to learn about different countries and cultures.… >>>

In this module I learned that global competency is based on four key domains. That the goal of teaching these domains to students is to make them more successful in the workforce by helping them compete, connect and cooperate on an international scale. I also learned that there are already several resources available to incorporate now, which I was not aware of previously. I really love the reminder that it is easy and important to start small with incorporating global competency into what we already have and know as educators. I will try to keep this in mind as I… >>>
