It will be imperative to mine and my students' success to make sure I am fully aware and trained on how to use Canvas. 

Use different styles of information delivery to keep interest and improve retention.

The first day sets up the tone for the class. Prepare for a positive first day; greet the students, explain the requirements and set the expectations.

Organization and preparation will be just as important for teaching as it is for clinical work.  Checklists and making sure I address each objective will be a tool that I will for sure be utilizing. 

I hope to use this training to being my teaching profession with grace, commitment and to strive for personal and professional growth. I understand the importance of modeling professional behavior and the necessity of managing the classroom. I hope to be my student's biggest motivator and fan.
