Activity

I will create lots of interactions for my students to be a part of like discussions and small groups.

Always show everyone respect, and a consistent routine and breaking course material down can help other struggling with PTSD.

I will be sure to be totally aware of the possibilities of this happening in my classes. The percentage of people is astounding, and it shows how important this is and how if needs to be addressed.

It made me think about how different the two are, I think most people think they are similar disorders but they are vastly different.

I have learned that it is not specific to certain groups but has an extremely wide variate of people it can affect.

Grow from the mistakes that you do make but don't worry so much about what you think might go wrong.

Its important to know how to manage your different types of students.

I like the observer job idea. I think it could give that particular outgoing student a job and a more purposeful time in class.

Express what you expect from your students. Have them do activities that work on their teamwork.

I learned the different learning styles of each student in your class matters. It's a good thing to try and find what pattern or style best suits your classroom. Engagement and proper planning are also two important things I noticed in this section. It's good to keep your students as engaged as possible so they retain as much information as possible and have a good time doing so. It's important to plan accordingly to your lesson and even have backups when something goes wrong.
