I learned about different learning styles and ways to incorporate them into lectures.

I learned about the importance of first impressions and how the first day sets the tone for the class and the course.

I learned that planning and preparing are crucial for a successful course and classroom

Modeling professional and showing integrity to my students, building rapport and trust with them.

I learned about the different types of learners there are and ways to work with them. I also learned that there are times where I may need to lean on the company's policies and procedures when dealing with more difficult and confrontational students.

I learned that it is imperative to keep the students engaged and curious, guiding discussion posts to stay on topic.

In this module I learned about posting a small biography to help students learn more about me and prompting them to engage in conversation with one another.

I do currently use a CMS, so I have not learned a great deal of new information. However it did give me more concrete ideas for what to include in my expectations letters to students.
